Nifty Tips
Indian equities, the Sensex and the Nifty, were trading flat in the morning session on Monday amid firm Asian cues. At 10.05 a.m., the 30-share BSE index Sensex was up 33.32 points (0.17 per cent) at 19,457.42 and the 50-share NSE index Nifty was up 1.9 points (0.03 per cent) at 5,909.30.
Volume toppers were Bajaj Auto, SBI, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and L&T. Top five Sensex gainers were Wipro, GAIL, Coal India, BHEL and Tata Motors, while the top five losers were Sterlite, ITC, TCS, Bharti Airtel and Jindal Steel.
